going and going
I'll be in New York after July 19, when my cousin and his family will be back in town to let me crash at their apartment in Manhattan. I'll be scouting apartments for my sister and I and will hopefully find a place by early August.
The next step is to get my plane ticket. Notice that I didn't say "buy my plane ticket". I was able to get a free roundtrip ticket voucher from United Airlines back in March, so I have only to set a date and get on a plane.
I'm a little reluctant to do it. Finalizing a plane ticket puts the nail in the coffin, so to speak. But i guess this is it.

go, and get out of here. we'll come visit. i'll be in boston early august -- take a train, and we'll watch the Sox beat the Yankees.
