Let the bells toll, i'm actually blogging. :o)

A few days ago, after pouring over some photography books by Walker Evans, I realized that the very idea of the human urge to create :: to make music, to dance, to paint, to write and all other things beautiful :: was strange. We've been surrounded by the product of human creativity, energy, imagination and ingenuity since the beginning of time and so I've taken it for granted. What would the world be like without our penchant for making art? To live in a world without my radio, without U2, without museums.

We live and breathe Art (and therefore culture), unconsciously; immersed in its gifts, seldom acknowledging our need for it like water to fish.
