just guess
Guess what i'm getting at work.
i'll whisper in your ear :: carpal tunnel.
My new quest is to get a natural/contour keyboard on my desk sometime before i lose feeling in my fingertips.
Run Forrest Run
I was planning to go jogging today on Iron Horse Trail (thanks nico), but it was way windy by the end of my shift. (I'm using factory worker talk). It's all good though, I rode my bike to the gym and ran 3.5 miles in 30 minutes and then rode home.
C.S. Lewis
I'm reading 'Mere Christianity' by said author, and it's turning out to be philosophical in tone. I'm used to Hermann Hesse's more aesthetic style, so i'm still adjusting to Lewis' style. Good stuff. He doesn't mean to define a specific denomination of Christianity, only to give the common foundation amongst all branches.
I'm at the 4th chapter and he hasn't gotten to the God part yet. He's only talked about the Law of (Human) Nature. It is the only law amongst the other natural laws in the world such as gravity, Physics (holla!), etc. that one can choose not to follow.
Regardless of the differences between cultures, however, all of them follow the Law of Nature. All cultures believe that man should put others before himself, however, who the "others" are differs by culture whether it's family, country, or both.
Well i can't even begin to convey all that Lewis wrote, but so far it seems like a good read (thanks alex). It'll be nice to become more knowledgeable about my faith.
